Who Is LPC?

The principal of the firm, Steve Landers, has more than thirty years of site planning, plan permitting and site development experience in the Greater Metro Atlanta Area and Northeast Georgia. Steve is a 1989 graduate of the School of Environmental Design at the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture. The education of a Landscape Architects sets them far above all other professionals when it comes to land development and site engineering. Steve spent his first 11 years of professional practice as a project manager and chief designer for two major Metro Atlanta firms before starting his own company, LPC, in 1999. Projects that Steve has designed and permitted have ranged from small scale to large scale

developments such as elementary, middle and high schools, 5 lot to 300+ lot subdivisions and industrial projects. Steve is well educated and skilled in Site Design/Layout, Site Engineering, Storm Water System Design, Hydrology, Sewer System Design (both Sanitary and Septic) and Water system design. Steve has 30+ years’ experience in designing and permitting projects in the Metro Atlanta Area and Northeast Georgia. Steve is a registered Professional Landscape Architect in the State of Georgia (#1067) and is a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Professional with the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission (#894) and state trained in the Georgia Stormwater Management Manual (Georgia Bluebook) and with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements as defined in the Federal Clean Water Act.
